We supply suitable quiet horses, talented instructors, helmets and all the tack required to ride rain or shine in our indoor facility.

Riding Day Camps

Summer 2010

For Youth ages six to 18. Learn basic horsemanship skills including walk trot canter/lope etc. depending on riders level.

Camp includes a Fun Show at the end of the week!

Plenty of riding time during camp.

Beginner, intermediate or advanced riders accepted. Riders divided into groups suitable to Age, Riding Level and Skills.

 

Horsemanship and Fun

  • Horse safety, ground work.
  • Grooming techniques and bridling.
  • In-hand showmanship and saddling
  • Designing and riding equitation patterns and trail Courses
  • Age appropriate group games
  • Crafts and take home pictures

 

Stable Management

Learning about basic horse care, riders participate in our feeding and stable programs, have direct contact with young horses, foals and farm life.

Achievement and Show Awards

Riders receive Show Ribbons and Certificates at the fun show at the end of the week. Parents are welcome to attend the presentation.

What to Bring

Bug spray, long pants and shorts, boots with a one inch heel that cover the ankle. a sun hat, water bottle and snacks. We will supply a riding helmet or you can bring your own.
