Beta Headstall $114.00

Beta headstalls are made of a synthetic material that combines the strength of nylon with the easy care of vinyl. Beta is particularly popular with trail and endurance riders, since the material requires no maintenance and can be subjected to virtually any conditions without being affected. Available in black, brown and chestnut. Draft size available in black only.

Beta is a leather-like synthetic composed of a nylon core with a vinyl coating. It is impervious to dirt and sweat, and will give you years of use with no maintenance required. The material stays supple in freezing weather and doesn't dry out or get brittle with age. Beta is durable and easy to clean - just dunk in a bucket of water, swish around and hang to dry. It has a slightly grainy surface and low-sheen surface, which gives it a leather-like appearance. Beta is a little heavier than nylon.

Nylon Headstall $89.00

Our "schooling" headstall is made of durable nylon. While nylon is not as impervious to abuse as beta, these nylon headstalls are quite serviceable and should provide years of use with proper care. Available in black and brown.

Dirt and sweat can work their way into the nylon fabric, so it important to keep them clean. They can either be hand washed or dropped into a washing machine (gentle cycle).

English Leather Headstall (standard) $238.00

Our Standard English Leather headstalls are made of Segwicks of England's English bridle leather with top-quality workmanship. Available in black, havana brown and newmarket.

English Leather bridles are relatively stiff when new, but with proper care and break-in will become soft and extremely supple, conforming perfectly to your horse's head

English Leather Headstall (padded)$285.00

Our top-of-the-line headstall, Padded English Leather, have a soft leather padding under the browband and noseband, which makes them softer on your horse's face. The noseband and browband on the padded headstalls are slighty wider than on the Standard English Leather headstalls. All padded English leather headstalls are made of Segwicks of England's English bridle leather with top-quality workmanship. Available in black, havana brown and newmarket.

Beta Driving Headstall $144.95

Our Driving Headstall is made of Beta, a leather-like synthetic that is extremely strong and durable while requiring no maintenance or care. It is identical to our regular (riding) Beta headstall, with the addition of a throatlatch and blinders. Available in black only.

Any driving lines will work with this headstall, however if you would like to order beta lines please call us with the length you desire and we will have them made to order. The price is $85 for the first five feet, then $5.00 per each added foot (per set).

Hi Susan,
I received my bridle on Thursday, and today was the first time I\'ve had a chance to try it out as we were away for the long weekend.
Wow!
I had my daughter get on Bella for the first time while I side walked and did the steering on the bridle, and My daughter is a GREEN rider. Bella was so responsive!
Then I got up and rode for about 20 minutes, and she loved it! She was so responsive to the lightest hand aids, and was doing her little happy snorts the whole time!
I think we've hit on a winner!
Attached are two photos of my horse, Clus Monterey Belle ( Bella ) with her spiffy new bridle, which we will not be returning. We love it! Much thanks for your help.
